I am a graduate of the University of Houston's Honors College, with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and minors in Medicine and Society and Leadership Studies. I was a member of the Honors College, the Bonner Leaders Program, and the Division I Women's Soccer Team.

I spent my time at the University of Houston serving my community and preparing for my goal of becoming a physician. Through the Science Mentoring for a Richer Tomorrow service project, I discovered my passion for teaching and mentoring students. I also sought to step outside of my comfort zone by studying abroad in the Galápagos Islands, which grew my desire to travel and experience different cultures.

As a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) in the Czech Republic, I hope to improve my intercultural communication skills and learn more about how the Czech education system tackles inequality.

Looking forward, I plan to attend medical school to continue serving others and working with diverse communities.
